USD 23 Million Exported by 13 Companies during the Sweet Industry Fair of Cologne

The Industrial Modernization Center has arranged last week for the participation of 13 Egyptian food producers in the largest fair for the sweet industry in Cologne.

The sweet industry generates billions of dollars yearly, and the sweet production business is rapidly developing. That is why 1616 companies from 70 countries all over the world in addition to 35 thousand visitors from 140 countries are visiting the Cologne event.

Sixteen Egyptian companies have participated this year. This Egyptian presence is the largest compared to the other Arab and African nations. The amount of contracts awarded to the Egyptian companies is expected to exceed 23 million LE.
