Cooperation between Egypt and Morocco in Oil & Gas Exploration

The Egyptian Petroleum Minister Eng. Sameh Fahmy and Mr. Mohamed Abu taleb the Moroccan Minister of petroleum had discussed cooperation between Egypt & Morocco in the field of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

The Moroccan Minister had expressed Morocco desire for cooperation with Egypt in the field of exploration in some areas in Morocco.

Morocco had conducted seismic land survey as a preliminary step for exploration and production. Eng. Sameh Fahmy had expressed Egypt willingness to provide support and technical studies to Morocco in the oil and gas exploration and production fields.

Both parties agreed on signing a protocol between Egypt & Morocco. In this context. an Egyptian delegate will visit Morocco to develop the cooperation and explore different opportunities.
