Hassan Younis will Sign 32 MW Hydroelectric Power Station

After being reconfirmed in his deserved post, Egypt's Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Eng. Hassan Younis, will soon sign the first two contracts worth L.E. 630 million pertaining to Assuit 32 MW hydroelectric power station. The contracts pertain to the supply and erection of the turbines, generators and other electromechanical equipment. Contracts are part of a L.E. 3 billion scheme including both the hydroelectric power station and the barrage going under partial funding from KFW - German Bank for Reconstruction. N.B. Observers at home and abroad could not overview the sincerity, seriousness and capability of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy while progressing on multibillion energy projects in spite of most tough challenges and difficulties faced over the past 11 months, still maintaining strict adherence to full transparency codes.
