Etisalat Misr, affiliated to Etisalat of the UAE, is investing in green energy to feed its network of communication transmitting stations. The company claims being a pioneer in that field revealing that so far it has built 40 such stations and planning to build further 150 stations during the first half of 2012. The development would obviously contribute to eliminating CO2 emissions hence improving environment. Etisalat have succeeded also to use aluminum stands for both the windmills and solar cells surfaces instead of copper stands being by all means of higher cost apart from eliminating theft chances of those expensive copper stands.
