Shell Oil Corporation earmarked $600 million for petroleum and natural gas exploration in Egypt as well as for the development of already-existing wells.
This was announced during a meeting between Egyptian Petroleum Minister Abdullah Ghorab and President of Shell for the Middle East and North Africa Mark Carne and the head of Shell Egypt on 22/2/2012. Carne said the company is determined to carry on with oil and gas exploration programs, using the latest techniques in this regard to increase production and make the best exploitation of wells. |
