More than 15 representatives of Swedish companies expressed their confidence in the future of their investments in Egypt, which is the second largest market for Swedish imports in the Middle East. alin Chery Ambassador of Sweden said in the embassy statement on Tuesday: The business of Sweden in Egypt is stable, and that was clear through many companies that have already achieved significant growth in income during the last period, we have seen after the revolution, major deals and new Swedish investments in Egypt.
The Ambassador “Chery”, refers to the merge of "Electrolux" Swedish home appliance company with"Olympic” Egyptian company in addition to "Aikiya" large for home furnishings which will open in Egypt soon, pointing out that these some of the few examples that demonstrate the confidence of Swedish investor in the Egyptian market. She explained that the Swedish companies operating in Egypt meets regularly as a meeting organized by the Embassy in cooperation with the Swedish Trade Council in Cairo, in order to discuss market conditions and the possibility of creating opportunities for increased investment and Swedish business in Egypt
