Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Dr. Hisham Qandeel said in a statement on 10/3/2012 that the Egyptian formal participation in the Sixth World Forum of water reflects Egypt's keenness on supporting global and African efforts towards integration among all world nations in the good management of water resources.
Qandeel made his remarks before traveling to Marseille to attend the opening session of the Sixth Global Forum of water.
The ministry Irrigation and Water Resources participated with a senior delegation headed by Dr. Qandeel. 140 delegations, representatives of 180 counties and 25.000 participants take part in the forum that will take 6 days. Moreover, Qandeel will hold a number of meetings with representatives of Nile Basin countries in the sideline of the forum. The meetings aim at reviewing Egypt's vision on disagreements points of convention on Entebbe. |
