Finance Minister Momtaz al-Saeed has approved additional allocations in the state budget for the current fiscal amounting to EGP 1.3 billion to provide the basic needs of the local markets of basic and strategic commodities. These funds include LE900 million that will go to the Egyptian General Petroleum Authority to provide the basic needs of imported oil products for local consumption, he said in statements.
