Egyptian-ASEAN Businessmen Association Launched

The Egyptian Businessmen Association along with the ASEAN member states launched in Cairo on 21/3/2012 the Egyptian-ASEAN businessmen association. The Association aims at boosting bilateral economic, trade and communication cooperation. Civil Aviation Minister Hussein Massoud said that Egypt-ASEAN ties, which were established in 1967, are deep-rooted. Boosting cooperation between the sides will contribute to serving their interests, he said. The association will have an important role in boosting joint investment and promoting the swap of economic expertise between Egypt and ASEAN countries along with riding out financial crises in the international arena, Massoud added.
