Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Eissa said a high-profile Czech delegation will visit Cairo next week under Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg. Heads of 15 major Czech companies will be present. During a meeting with Czech Ambassador to Egypt Pavel Kafka on Wednesday, Eissa said the three-day visit aims at probing bilateral, political relations and means to foster economic cooperation and establish joint investments in the two countries. The Minister added an Egyptian-Czech business forum will be held during the visit, which, he said, aims at learning more about possible investment chances in the two countries. The forum will be attended by representatives from major Egyptian and Czech companies, said Eissa. Kafka, for his part, stressed his country's keen interest in boosting economic cooperation with Egypt as an important, promising market at both the African and Arab levels.
