New Incentives to Encourage Investments in Egypt

Mahmoud Issa, Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, assured the importance of economic cooperation between Egypt and the Czech Republic at the present stage with the country will discuss other opportunities for investment within and outside the country, confirming the presence of promising opportunities in the areas of renewable energy, water treatment, transport and gas, environment, tourism and infrastructure projects. the minister said in "the Egyptian - Czech Business forum ", which was held , organized by the Federation of Egyptian Industries under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade, that Egypt can benefit from the Czech expertise in the transfer of technology related industries heavy in particular and industry in general.

Forum also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian Bank for Export Development and his Czech counterpart, where the president signed the agreement on the two banks to provide funding mechanisms for joint projects between the two countries and credit guarantees for exports to both countries. The Minister of Industry to Egypt clarified that since the revolution, a number of political developments, which will qualify to become one of the best investment areas in the Middle East and North Africa, Egypt as a hub for all regional markets, and will give more incentives for attracting investments, calling on Czech businessmen to come to Egypt and establish their projects and explore opportunities and possibilities.

For his part, Karel Schwarzenberg, Czech Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, declared that his country's desire to consolidate political and economic relations with Egypt, pointing to the existence of diplomatic relations and close between the two countries, making Egypt a list of countries to discuss trade cooperation and industrial with it, to be the Egypt gate Czech Africa and the Czech Republic Portal Egypt to Europe. Jalal El zorba Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries assured from his part that Czech delegation's visit to Egypt in current period will maximize opportunities and increase investment in various fields.
