Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh called for enforcing agreements between Jordan and Ukraine, pointing to the possibility of exchanging agricultural products between the two countries. At a meeting with chairman of Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine Vasiliy Tsushko who headed the Ukrainian side to meetings of the Jordanian-Ukrainian Committee, Khasawneh said that security and stability qualifies Jordan to be a major tourist attraction in the Middle East, particularly that it has many archaeological and historical sites in the Kingdom. During the meeting, which was attended by Ministry of Industry and Trade Sami Gammo, the prime minister voiced hope that the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Kingdom would help in increasing cooperation between the two countries. Head of the Ukrainian side to the committee's meeting briefed the prime minister on the outcome of the meeting, adding that he agreed with the industry minister to hold the meetings annually.
