Media relations between the UAE and Bahrain and coordination between the National Media Council (NMC) and Bahrain's Information Affairs Authority were discussed by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Media Council (NMC) and Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Information Affairs Authority who is on a current visit to the UAE. The meeting was part of the interest the leaderships of the two countries show in bolstering cooperation in different spheres. In attendance at the meeting was Bahrain's ambassador Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Saqr Al-Ma'awda.
