Communications and Information Technology Minister Mohammed Salem said that Egypt and Finland will sign next month a cooperation protocol in the communications and information technology. In a statement on 18/4/2012, Salem said the two sides agreed to form a committee at the level of governments and businessmen to lay down a plan for cooperation within the coming period and to coordinate for putting into effect several projects to be agreed upon between the two countries. During the visit, Salem met with Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Jyri Hakamies for talks on ways of increasing trade and investment between the two countries in the communications and information technology domains.
