Mohammed bin Rashid Receives Massoud Al Barazani

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Massoud Al Barazani and his accompanying ministerial delegation at Zabeel Palace. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed his guest and discussed with him the bolstering bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Iraq and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in particular, especially in trade, cultural and investment relations.

Sheikh Mohammed stressed on UAE's keenness to safeguard stability of Iraq and boost peaceful coexistence and tolerance between the different sects of Iraqi society. Al Barazani briefed Sheikh Mohammed on the political and security advancements and efforts to maintain and sustain security and unity of Iraq.
The meeting was attended by Dubai Deputy Ruler H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Director of Dubai Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shebani, Major General Mohammed Dhaen Al Qamzi, Emaar Chairman Mohammed Ali Al Abbar, Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office Ahmed Abdullah Al Sheikh, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and UAE Ambassador to Iraq Abdullah Ibrahim Al Shehhi.
