H.H.Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister has received Masood Ahmed, Director of the Middle East, Asia Department at International Monetary Fund (IMF). The two sides discussed the activities of the IMF in the Middle East, Asia and the IMF relations with the UAE. Sheikh Abdullah also received Swiss Ambassador to UAE Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart, who presented the Award of Swiss Ambassador to the UAE FM.
The Swiss envoy who expressed his pleasure to present the award to Sheikh Abdullah, lauded the UAE FM sincere efforts to boost the bilateral ties between the two countries. He referred to the setting up of the UAE Embassy in Bern in October in 2011. He also lauded the invitation of Sheikh Abdullah to the Swiss Foreign Minister and a number of other countries to attend the Sair Baniyas Forums, a move that increased the awareness of Swiss about the UAE potentials. |
