Egypt Participates in the World Economic Forum

Following Egypt's participation in the World Economic Forum the twenty-second, which is held for the first time in Ethiopia, revealed Ayman Issa, the Egyptian - Ethiopian Business Council, that the volume of existing investments between Egypt and Ethiopia reached 15 billion pounds, explaining that there was a large turnout of Egyptian companies to invest in Ethiopia, although there are some obstacles that prevent this.

Issa said that economic and trade relations between the two countries is witnessing a strong boost to the level of trade and investment, stressing that can be achieved much more than that and asking the Ministry of International Cooperation and the Ministries of Trade and Industry and Chambers of brands and officials of major companies in both countries intensively their efforts to raise the volume of trade exchange between them.

The head of the Business Council Egyptian- Ethiopian said that economic and trade relations between the two countries witnessed a boost during the recent period, pointing out that more than 35 Egyptian companies operating in Ethiopia, although the volume of trade exchange between the two countries rose to $ 350 million, instead of $ 100 million before the start of the work of the Council of Egyptian Ethiopian business.
