Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs and Honorary Patron of the Sharjah Business Women Council, urged young entrepreneurs to adopt competitive standards in the areas of trade and industry on both local and global levels in order to boost the UAE's in global markets. "We believe that small and medium-sized enterprises are considered one of the most important essential to raise the level of competition and creativity to ensure maximum growth in economic sectors. The emirate of Sharjah enjoys special characteristics that qualify it to be an effective economic engine in the world if we rely on our capabilities and make the best use of available resources and infrastructure to improve the commercial sectors and open new economic horizons in the emirate," Sheikha Jawaher said as she opened today N VILLA Beauty Center, one of the residential villa projects in the emirate, in line with her ongoing and unlimited support to small and medium sized enterprises.
Sheikha Jawaher was accompanied by Noura Ahmed Al Noman, General Manager of the Executive Office of Sheikha Jawaher, and Ameera A. Binkaram, Chairperson of the Sharjah Business Women Council, as well as a number of businesswomen, society ladies and senior figures. "We are aware of the ability of small and medium enterprises to support the strategy of the Government of Sharjah which aims to diversify the sources of public income, and thus develop a large-scale SME's base is a key pillar for achieving top priorities of the emirate's and the UAE's economy due to its importance in the comprehensive development process and the building of generations that have the spirit of creativity and the ability to invest in available resources for their benefit and that of the society in which they live, "She stressed. Sheikha Jawaher urged women entrepreneurs to join the Sharjah Business Women Council and take advantage of the various programmes offered by the Council and also underlined the importance of women's interaction in society, referring to the significant role they play to achieve sustainable development. She wished the beauty centre would achieve the desired success and set a model be emulated by women as well as a source of inspiration for new creative ideas and new pioneering projects in cooperation with the new Sharjah Business Women Council. Speaking on the occasion, Ameera Binkaram, Chairperson of the Sharjah Business Council, expressed her profound thanks and appreciation to Sheikha Jawaher for her continuous support and diligent guidance of the Council. She said "We are keen to practically translate Sheikha Jawaher's continuous directives and facilitate women's access into the business world, as well as to support professional and productive women, female students and graduates who are among the categories served by the Council," Binkaram said. She said: "the Council believes that women have a pivotal and effective role in the comprehensive development process taking place in the country in general and Sharjah in particular. We are working hard to enable female entrepreneurs to fulfill their ambitions in traditional and non-traditional economic sectors. We also strive to create a new generation of enthusiastic and innovative female entrepreneurs." Binkaram stressed that organizing the opening ceremony of this beauty centre under the patronage of Sheikha Jawaher comes in line with the Council's message to economically enable pioneering women entrepreneurs in Sharjah and help open up new horizons for them to be able to market their enterprises, products and service. The Council's mission is also to provide the necessary environment to promote leading initiatives and develop the private sector's role by creating investment opportunities for women entrepreneurs to enter the market and further achieve the sustainability of these projects. " Binkaram highlighted the Council's role in providing technical support for all the enterprises involved and advisory and technical support necessary to turn women's ideas into realistic projects or helping them develop their existing enterprises. The spar project received the support and supervision of the Business Women Council since it was just an idea stage throughout its implementation phases until its completion. She added that the project received all forms of support from the Council, including work supervision in coordination with government agencies, marketing and media support and providing networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, as well as following up on invitations for members in order to develop and strengthen economic relations between business women members of the Council. " The Center is the latest beauty center in the emirate of Sharjah which offers a wide range of the best beauty services, international products and the latest techniques and devices.
