EGP 780 Million to Finance Projects in Gharbia Governorate

Ministry of Housing accomplishes this month the implementation of a number of drinking water and sanitation projects in Gharbia governorate at the cost of about EGP 780 million to serve more than 800 thousand of the Governorate's citizens.

Dr. Fathi El Baradei Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development said a water plant in Basyoun was implemented at the cost of EGP 850 million and capacity of 75 thousand cubic meters per day. First phase of expansions of sanitation projects in Samanoud have been accomplished with the capacity of 15 thousand cubic meters per day and at cost of EGP 90 million to serve 100 thousand people, Fathi announced
