Planning and International Cooperation Minister Signed a €800,000 grant agreement with French ambassador to Egypt Jean Felix-Paganon and director of "L'Angene Francoise de Development Jean Pierre Marcelli, to Finance the feasibility studies of the establishment of power station of kom Ombo, 200 Megawatt capacities. The grant is to be used for the designs and carrying out the station powered with solar energy.
A member of agreements are expected to be signed this month including a grant of €500,000 grant to finance the feasibility studies for improving public transportation in Alexandria and another one million euro grant to be used for feasibility studies for other projects. Planning and International Cooperation Minister Fayza Abul-Naga praised the Franch "L'Angence Francaise de development" for supporting Egypt since the year 2006 with total sums of €676.2 million and provided government loans of €669 million to finance the various development projects in addition to grants of €7.2 million.
