Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash discussed with Tunisian State Minister for Immigration and Tunisians Overseas Hussein al-Jaziri ways to boost joint cooperation between the two countries. Ghobash stressed while receiving the Tunisian minister at the ministry in the presence of Tunisian Ambassador to UAE Tariq Beltayeb, the depth of fraternal ties between the two countries and keenness on sustaining them in the best interest of the two countries, especially in the areas of labour market and human resources development.
The UAE minister briefed the guest about the policies and initiatives adopted by the UAE to create labour market stability, upgrade labour productivity and woo efficient cadres and expertise to further boost competitive knowledge driven economy, whose focus is the citizen. Ghobash reiterated the UAE's care for protection of the rights of workers, including those of Tunisians in the labour market. For his part, the Tunisian minister said the Tunisian leadership and people appreciate the UAE's supportive stances to Tunisia in all fields. He added the UAE experiencing fast growth and development, thanks to prudent leadership that has made the UAE a role model. He hoped for continuous cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries to support the efforts being exerted in Tunisia to achieve comprehensive development. |
