Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Mahmoud Eissa issued on 6/6/2012 a decision imposing a %15 dumping duty on polypropylene imports for 200 days to protect the national industry from foreign firms, especially the Gulf ones. The decision will protect the plastic industry sector of and save 540,000 workers from being dismissed.
