South African President Jacob Zuma has received the credentials of HE Salem Abdullah al-Jaber as Qatar's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to South Africa. The Qatari Ambassador conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the South African President. For his part, President Zuma entrusted the Qatari diplomat with his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent, wishing him success in his mission and further progress and development for relations between Qatar and South Africa. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various fields.
