An Egyptian-Saudi summit will be held in the Saudi city of Jeddah on 11/7/2012 to discuss a host of issues of mutual concern. President Mohamed Morsi and King Abdullah bin Abdelaziz will discuss bilateral relations topped with the issues related to Egyptian communities in Saudi Arabia and means to boost cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Abdullah Sadek Dahlan Head of Saudi Arabia-Egypt Business Council affirmed that the visit to be paid to Saudi Arabia by Egypt's President Mohamed Morsy is historical one as it has indications that the two people of Saudi Arabia and Egypt are just one people who could not be separated or divided as both Saudi Arabia and Egypt are the two strong countries which could affect the Arab-International Relations and Arab-Arab relations. He added that the visit by President Mohamed Morsi to Saudi Arabia gives a signal to Saudi investors that their investments in Egypt are safe and that President Morsi is most keen for Saudi investments to grow and that it is a message for Egyptian and Saudi investors that the coming stage is very important in Egypt and that Egypt would respect economic agreements and will act for dedication of Arab tourism in Egypt. We expect a joint statement following President Morsi’s visit to Saudi Arabia including means to deal with pending issues concerning Saudi investments in Egypt, the right of investors and to deal with some matters which affected Saudi investments in Egypt. We as Saudi businessmen appreciate the Egyptian judicial system and laws and we respect the right of Egypt labor working for Saudi firms and that we will never leave Egypt with our investments, but we will be back stronger to give a bright image for joint cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. |
