H. H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Jean-Marc Ayrault, French Prime Minister today discussed cooperation relations between the UAE and the Republic of France and ways of boosting them in various fields to achieve the aspirations and ambitions of the two countries and their people. This came during a meeting between the two leaders here at prime minister's office in Paris. H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was also in attendance.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed satisfaction on the current level of relations between the two countries which is based on firm foundations of common interests and mutual respect reflecting the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to deepen these relationships so as to contribute in supporting security and stability in the region. The meeting also hailed the level of cooperation between UAE and France stressing two countries keenness to promote and develop areas of joint cooperation in various fields to achieve common interests. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments on issues of common concern. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said "As we are stressing the importance of strategic cooperation relations between UAE and France, we are looking forward to achieve further development of this cooperation in various fields" Also in attendance at the meeting were Staff Major-General Eisa Saif Al Mazrouei, Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and Mohammed Meer Al Raisi, Ambassador of the UAE to France. |
