The Egyptian Exchange on 11/7/2012 announced reopening the subscription for treasury bills at a value of EGP4.5 billion along with other bonds at a value of EGPone billion. In a press release, the bourse indicated that subscription for bonds - April 2017- will be reopened at a value of EGP two billion for the fifth time to take up the aggregate value of these bonds up to EGP nine billion for nine million bonds at a face value of EGP1,000 each and a dividend of 16.55 percent.
Also, subscription for bonds - April 2019 - will be reopened at a value of EGP1.5 billion so that the total value of these bonds will hit EGP7 billion for seven million bonds at a face value of 1,000 each and interest rate of 16.85 percent. The bourse also approved reopening subscription for the bonds - April 2022 - at a value of EGPone billion for the fourth time at a face value of L.E 1,000 and interest rate of 17 percent for each bond. Bonds - July 2015 - were also approved for subscription at a value of L.E two billion and a face value of L.E 1,000 and interest rate of 16.15 per cent for each bond.
