President Mohamed Morsi met at the presidential palace on 22/7/2012 with Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hisham Qandeel to review future irrigation projects nationwide. Talks covered the role of the ministry in upgrading irrigation systems and surveying encroachments on water courses along the banks of the River Nile in addition to efforts to protect the river from pollution.
