Egypt's stocks lost 0.6 per cent following armed attacks on Egyptian guards along the Israeli-Sinai border on Sunday evening. The attack left dozens killed and injured. The market, however, managed to buffer its morning loses of 0.9 per cent. Orascom Telecom Media and Technology and Orascom Telecom Holding are topping the market in terms of turnover.
