Hatem Saleh: New Measures to Encourage Investments

Eng. Hatem Saleh Industry and Foreign Trade Minister affirmed the keenness of the Ministry to find urgent solutions for all problems and obstacles facing the industrial development process and exportation as well as making available the climate for attracting investments in the industry and trade sectors.

Saleh affirmed as well that measures adopted during the past stage meant to achieve positive growth rates. The Egyptian economy is capable of passing the present stage as Egypt possesses strong infra-structure which could lead to achieving high rates of growth during the coming stage.

The Minister told the industry and foreign trade Ministry senior staff that the present government is representing a take off point to carry out the program of the President which gives priority to the economy. He urged heads of the Ministry organizations to prepare reports on facilities to present to the industrial community in order to issue it during the coming few days. He urged the Ministry heads of organizations to take up decisive resolutions and to resolve the problems of investors as this affects the investments in Egypt. The meeting dealt with means to support small and medium projects to provide more job opportunities and to contribute to resolving the problem of unemployment.
