Dr Kandel announced that Egypt opens the door for investors for mutual benefit and achieving prosperity he mentioned that 'we are seeking to achieve democracy and promotion in Egypt'. The conference were attended by 117 American businessmen, prime minister said that Egypt nowadays has an elected president, committee to put the constitution for Egypt, and this is to reach social stability, provide job opportunities for youth, reduce the deficit in state budget ( this will be achieved in the first level by taking loans from IMF). Dr Kandel talked about the importance of tourism for the national income; he mentioned in this regard that talks were held with Japanese ambassador for lifting the ban on Japanese tourists to Egypt.
Prime minister assured that there is an Egyptian national program 100% for economic reform, decreasing deficit in the state budget, he called the American delegation to increase their investments in Egypt especially that security has returned to Egypt to a great extent. Dr Kandel talked about the protection of intellectual property rights, the importance of middle class which is a corner stone for the stability in the society. Thomas Naydez Deputy U.S. Secretary of State and head of the delegation mentioned that American businessmen have a strong desire to invest in Egypt especially that president Obama seeks to increase cooperation with ' new Egypt' , and that studies in USA mentioned that the Egyptian economy will become one of the biggest 10 economies in the world . Mr. Naydez expressed his readiness to give assistance to Egypt for the success of its negotiations with international monetary institutions (IMF).
