Gen. His highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received at Qasr Al Bahr Saudi Minister of State Dr Masa'ad bin Mohammed Al Abyan. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Saudi Minister who delivered to him a letter from Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister '&' Defence Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, dealing with fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them. Afterwards, Sheikh Mohammed received Australian Defence Force Chief of Staff General David Hurley and his accompanying delegation. They discussed means to boost cooperation and to exchange expertise in defence and military fields.
The two meetings were attended by Crown Prince of Umm al-Qaiwain H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'all, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Also present were H.H. Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister '&' Interior Minister, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, H.H. Sheikh Omer bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, and Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Romaithi, Chief of Staff.
