The Egyptian Stock Exchange (ESE) slipped on profit-taking on 18/9/2012 trading. Market capital lost LE 34 million to reach LE 406.33 billion. The benchmark EGX 30 index slipped 0.08 percent to close the day's trading at 5890.8 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) drew back by 0.48 percent to 569 points. The overall EGX 100 index followed suit with 0.43 percent, taking the index down to 935.09 points.
