Dr Kandel Received Indian Ambassador in Egypt

Prime minister Dr Kandel received Mr. Navadeeb Seri Indian ambassador in Cairo; they reviewed Egyptian Indian relations and different ways to promote these relations. The amount of trade between the two countries reached 3.2 billion dollar, expected to reach 4 billion dollar at the end of the year. Indian investments in Egypt reached 2.5 billion dollar invested by 50 Indian companies in Egypt. They discussed the formation of Egyptian Indian business council to encourage businessmen in the two countries to invest in new projects, especially that India have preferential features in many important industries like IT and outsourcing. Indian ambassador invited Dr Kandel to participate in the annual forum for Indian businessmen in January 2013 under the name of 'partnership summit‘, the heads of the largest Indian companies will participate in this event. Indian ambassador expressed his country's interest to cooperate with Egypt in technical education development, establishing centers for Rehabilitation of skilled labor, in addition to promoting Indian tourism in Egypt.
