Prime minister Dr Hisham Kandel received Mr. sofian Bin Tunis executive president for international general electric company (North Africa), minister of industry and foreign trade participated in this meeting. Executive president for the company reviewed the company's activity in Egypt, this includes Banha and North Giza power stations (1500 MW for the coming year ), and will reach 3000 MW after ending some additional expansions for the coming two years. Mr. sofian Bin Tunis referred to his company's interest to expand its activities in Egypt (especially in renewable energy), they are studying the capabilities of the Egyptian market to Put some projects after the completion of necessary studies in the fields of Desalination, health and waste management, in addition to nuclear and wind energy projects .
