Ahmed Zaki: EGP 166m for Infrastructure Projects

Some EGP166 million is allocated to finance infrastructure projects in various governorates, Minister of Local Development Ahmed Zaki Abdeen said on 4/11/2012. About EGP22 million will go to development projects in governorates; EGP21 million to basic services in villages such as drinking water and sewage projects and 47 million to remote areas, he said. About GPE33 million was allocated to paving roads and 43 million to boosting the governorates' own resources, he said. Securing potable water and high-quality bread comes at the ministry's top priorities along with governorates' hygiene, he said.
