His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces received at Emirates Palace Goh Chok Tong, Senior Minister of the Republic of Singapore and the delegation accompanying him. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Singaporean official, referring to the growing bilateral relations between the UAE and Singapore, and the keenness of the two countries to push forward the relations to new horizons.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince commended the Singaporean development experience, especially in the areas of management, education and human resources development. He deemed it successful example that could be emulated to build the institutions and human resources. The two sides discussed the relations and a number of issues of mutual interest. For his part, the Singaporean official hailed the progress being experienced by the UAE, thanks to the wise leadership. He stressed the significance of joint meeting to exchange views on a number of issues.
