Egypt and the European Union (EU) signed on 13/11/2012 three cooperation agreements. The Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship Antonio Tajani inked the agreements with Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Hatem Saleh on the sidelines of the Egypt-EU work group meeting. The first agreement is connected with small- and medium-sized enterprises, the second is about industrial cooperation and the third covers increasing cooperation and information exchange on quality standards.
