Prime Minister, Dr. Hisham Qandil, approved setting up a biggest ever poultry complex in Egypt over a 140.000 feddan space as a first phase, senior officials told Al-Ahram daily newspaper. An aggregate 286.000 feddan space make up the other phases of the project, said the sources. The complex targets to boost the production of poultry up to 750 million birds per annum most likely to be increased up to two billion within the course of 5 years.
