National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), part of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bayanat for Mapping and Surveying Services, a provider of end-to-end and customized geospatial data products and services for serving national strategic interests through delivery of integrated geospatial data services. Under the MoU, Inked today by Ahmed Al Mandous, Executive Director of NCMS, and Khaled Al Melehi, CEO of Bayanat, Bayanat provide the NCMS with a package of services including digital aerial survey, data gathering, geodesy and field surveying, sea-bed profiling and geospatial data visualization and cartography. Training, education, and customised geospatial consultancy services will be among the vital areas of joint cooperation.
Ahmed Al Mandous, Executive Director of NCMS, told WAM that the MoU would create a channel of communication for streamlining joint work and facilitating exchange of expertise and knowledge so as to adopt best practices to serve national interests. Khaled Al Melehi, CEO of Bayanat, said his company would provide the NCMS with a portfolio of services to enable it deliver high quality services to the community and stimulate growth in the UAE by supporting trade partners to take informed decisions backed by an array of personalized and innovative project solutions and services and accurate and reliable data. |
