Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ashraf el-Arabi said that negotiations with International Monetary Fund (IMF) are going on as usual. In a press release, el-Arabi denied news claiming that Cairo's talks with the IMF have stopped. He asserted that an IMF technical team will visit Egypt in the coming few weeks to resume discussions over a plan work proposed by the Egyptian government. Egypt seeks a $4.8 bn-loan from the IMF to recover the economy and growth.
