Minister of Finance El-Morsy El-Sayed Hegazy on 29/03/2013 said that the recent customs tariff amendments aimed at supporting the industrial and agricultural sectors while reducing the decline of Egypt’s reserves of foreign currency. The Minister stressed the government’s keenness on supporting the productive sector and removing all restrictions and barriers facing it. Therefore, the new customs tariff focused on eliminating tariff drawbacks that the industry was suffering from, he added.
