Electricity and Energy Minister Ahmed Imam underlined the importance of the integrated Arab power connection. Speaking at the start of the 29th meeting of the executive bureau of the Arab Electricity Ministers' Council, Imam said the bureau will take up the power linkage project and assess the use of natural gas to export electricity. The meeting's agenda also includes the peaceful use of nuclear energy, Imam, who is the president of this council's round, said.
