Mohamed bin Zayed Receives Bahrain's Crown Prince

His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received at Al Mina Palace HRH Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Prince Salman, stressing the keenness of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to strengthen bonds of fraternity and cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting discussed adequate means to boost bilateral ties so as to serve interests of the two fraternal countries and their people. The two sides also reviewed progress of the GCC joint action within the framework of inter-GCC consultation and coordination.

Sheikh Mohamed and his royal guest also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments as well as on a variety of issues of mutual concern. The Bahraini crown prince paid tribute to the UAE for its continued support for his country.

H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Presidential Aviation Authority, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of Sheikh Mohamed's Diwan and members of the high-level delegation accompanying the Bahraini crown prince.
