Minister of Military Production Reda Hafez has said that coordination is underway with the Ministry of Investment to manufacture a 100% Egyptian car, adding that negotiations are underway with several countries including France, India, Malaysia and China as well as Fiat Company to manufacture a car that suits the Egyptian market. The minister also spoke of negotiations for merging Al-Nasr Manufacturing Company to the ministry of Military Production. However, Hafez said that the ministry gives high priority to manufacturing weaponry to provide the needs of the Armed Forces and police.
