Moscow Ready to Discuss Aid to Egypt

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Deputy and Envoy to the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov said that the Egyptian authority may ask Russia for economic aid and Moscow is ready to discuss the issue.

In press statements, he noted that talks would not only be about aid from the Russian state budget, but also private companies discuss terms of giving aid to Egypt, on the condition that it would be used effectively in the framework of developing relations between Russia and Egypt.

He pointed out that the new Egyptian authorities are keen to brief the Russian side of the latest developments in Egypt.
