A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Ministry of Civil Service between the Ministry and the Jordanian Civil Service Bureau.

The MoU was signed from the Omani side by Shaikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, while it was signed from the Jordanian side by Dr Khalaf al Humaysat, President of the Jordanian Civil Service Bureau.

The MoU stems from the distinguished relations and the constructive cooperation between the Sultanate and the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all spheres.

The MoU aims at enhancing the cooperation in the areas of civil service and administrative development.

The MoU comes in line with the Sultanate’s approach on expanding fields of cooperation with the sisterly countries in areas that serve the human resources, promoting the governmental performance and exchanging expertise.

The MoU comes within the framework of the visit of Dr Khalaf al Humaysat, President of the Jordanian Civil Service Bureau to the Sultanate. An official session of talks between the Ministry of Civil Service and the Jordanian Civil Service Bureau was also held.
