The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) market capital gained EGP 40 billion in February to hit EGP 491.8 billion.
During the course of the month, the benchmark index EGX 30 increased by 9.75% to hit 8,127 points, said a monthly report issued by the bourse. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SMEs) soared by 11.39 % to reach 651 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index went up by 12.79% to hit 1,119 points. |
