Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour started on 17/3/2014 a two-day visit to Khartoum along with a businessmen delegation.
In a press conference, Abdel-Nour said the visit comes as part of the Egyptian government's keenness on boosting and fostering cooperation among the people of the Nile Valley. He further said that he will discuss with a number of Sudanese officials ways of boosting cooperation within the upcoming period and exerting more efforts to overcome all the obstacles facing the trade movement between the two countries. For his part, Sudanese Industry Minister Al-Samih al-Sidiq al-Nour said the Sudanese government is interested in boosting Egyptian-Sudanese relations and Egyptian investments, pointing out that he will hold talks with the Egyptian side to resolve the issues facing Sudanese and Egyptians investors. |
