Yemen's Productivity of Grains Declines in 2013

The productivity of food grains in Yemen dropped in 2013 to 863,934 tons, with a decrease of 45,807 tons compared to 2012.

However, the area planted with grain crops has seen a relative improvement during the year 2013, as it amounted to 857,024 hectares, compared to 854,689 hectares in the previous year.
