The Cabinet referred on 26/5/2014 the 2014/2015 State budget bill to President Adly Mansour for ratification.
Minister of Finance Hani Qadri said under the new budget bill, public spending reaches EGP 807 billion and public revenues hit around EGP 517 billion, pointing out that the budget deficit in the next fiscal year would reach EGP 288 billion. Qadri asserted that Egypt's financial policy aims at achieving social justice, providing job opportunities, improving level of basic services and modernizing the basic infrastructure. |
